GreatDealSearch ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website greatdealsearch.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our visitors and ensuring transparency about our data practices. Please read this policy carefully. By using our Service, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide and improve our Service. The types of information we may collect include: technical data such as your IP address (which is hashed and anonymized for analytics purposes), browser type and version, operating system, referring website URL, pages visited on our site, time and date of your visit, and time spent on individual pages. We do not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address unless you voluntarily provide it to us through a contact form or other direct communication.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes: to operate and maintain our price comparison service; to understand how visitors use our website so we can improve the user experience; to analyze usage trends and optimize our search results and product listings; to detect and prevent fraudulent or bot traffic that degrades the quality of our service; to generate anonymized, aggregated statistical data about site usage; and to comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience. These include essential cookies required for the site to function (such as session management and country detection), analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors interact with our site, and preference cookies that remember your settings such as preferred country and display options. For more detailed information about our use of cookies, please see our Cookie Policy. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences at any time.
5. Third-Party Services
Our Service integrates with third-party services to provide price comparison functionality. When you click on a product listing and are redirected to a retailer's website, you leave our site and become subject to that retailer's privacy policy. We partner with Kelkoo Group for product feed data and merchant click tracking. Kelkoo may collect certain data when you click through to a merchant offer. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit through our Service. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external websites.
6. Data Retention
We retain anonymized analytics data (including hashed IP addresses and aggregated usage statistics) for a maximum of 90 days, after which log files are automatically purged. We do not maintain long-term databases of visitor information. Cached data used to improve site performance (such as geo-location lookups) is retained for no more than 24 hours. Any data collected through contact forms or direct communications is retained only for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry.
7. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the information we collect. These measures include encryption of data in transit using SSL/TLS protocols, hashing of IP addresses before storage so that original addresses cannot be recovered, access controls limiting who can view analytics data, regular review and updating of our security practices, and secure server infrastructure with appropriate firewalls and monitoring. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you; the right to restrict or object to certain data processing activities; the right to data portability; and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Because we primarily collect only anonymized and aggregated data, we may not be able to identify specific information associated with you. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information provided at the end of this policy.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
10. International Data Transfers
Our Service operates across multiple countries. Information collected may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from your jurisdiction. By using our Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure that your information remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy regardless of where it is processed.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
12. Contact Us
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us at: . We will endeavour to respond to all legitimate inquiries within a reasonable timeframe.
Cookie Policy
Last updated: January 1, 2026
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, provide a better user experience, and give site owners useful information about how their site is being used. Cookies may be set by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third parties whose services the website uses ("third-party cookies"). Cookies can be "persistent" (remaining on your device until they expire or are deleted) or "session-based" (deleted when you close your browser).
2. How We Use Cookies
GreatDealSearch uses cookies for several purposes essential to the operation of our price comparison service. We use cookies to detect and remember your geographic location so that we can show you relevant product prices and retailers for your country. We use cookies to manage A/B testing of our website design so that you see a consistent experience across visits. We use cookies to verify that visitors are real humans rather than automated bots, which helps maintain the quality of our service for all users.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
We use the following categories of cookies on our website. Essential cookies: these are required for our site to function properly and cannot be disabled. They include the country detection cookie (gds_geo) which ensures you see prices in your local currency and from retailers that serve your region, and the A/B test variant cookie (gds_variant) which ensures you see a consistent page design across visits. Functional cookies: these enhance your experience by remembering your preferences. Verification cookies: the JavaScript verification cookie (gds_js) helps us distinguish real visitors from automated traffic.
4. Specific Cookies We Set
The following is a complete list of first-party cookies set by GreatDealSearch: "gds_geo" stores your detected country code (e.g., "us," "uk," "de") and expires after 24 hours; "gds_variant" stores which version of our bridge page you were assigned for A/B testing purposes and expires after 30 days; "gds_js" is a simple flag confirming that JavaScript executed in your browser, used for bot detection, and expires after 24 hours. None of these cookies contain personally identifiable information.
5. Third-Party Cookies
When you click through to a merchant's website via our product listings, the merchant's site may set its own cookies. These cookies are governed by the merchant's cookie policy, not ours. Our product data partner, Kelkoo Group, may also set cookies when product click-throughs are processed. We recommend reviewing Kelkoo Group's cookie policy at kelkoogroup.com for details. We do not control third-party cookies and are not responsible for how third parties use cookie data collected through their services.
6. Cookie Duration
We design our cookies to have the shortest practical lifespan. Our geo-detection and JavaScript verification cookies expire within 24 hours. Our A/B testing cookie has a 30-day duration to ensure a consistent experience across return visits. We do not use any cookies that persist for more than 30 days. Session cookies used during your visit are automatically deleted when you close your browser. We regularly review our cookie practices to ensure we are not retaining data longer than necessary.
7. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically find these controls in the "Settings," "Preferences," or "Privacy" section of your browser. You can configure your browser to block all cookies, accept all cookies, or notify you when a cookie is set so you can decide whether to accept it. Please note that blocking essential cookies may prevent our website from functioning correctly, particularly the country detection feature that ensures you see relevant prices and retailers.
8. Impact of Disabling Cookies
If you choose to disable cookies, certain features of our website may not function as intended. Specifically, without the country detection cookie, you may see prices and retailers from a default country rather than your actual location, which could result in irrelevant search results. Without the A/B testing cookie, you may see different page layouts on each visit. Without the JavaScript verification cookie, our bot detection system may flag your visit as potentially automated, which could affect your ability to access certain features of the site.
9. Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that sends a signal to websites indicating that you do not wish to be tracked. There is currently no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. Our website does not currently respond to DNT signals in a standardized way, but we respect your privacy choices and our data collection practices are designed to be minimal and privacy-preserving regardless of DNT settings. We do not engage in cross-site tracking or build individual user profiles.
10. Updates to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as our practices evolve or as regulations change. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. If we make significant changes to our cookie practices, we will make reasonable efforts to notify visitors through a prominent notice on our website.
11. More Information
For more information about cookies in general, including how to see what cookies have been set on your device and how to manage or delete them, visit allaboutcookies.org or your browser's help documentation. If you have specific questions about our use of cookies, please contact us at: .
Legal Terms
Last updated: January 1, 2026
1. Legal Entity
GreatDealSearch is operated as a price comparison and product search service. The website greatdealsearch.com serves as an intermediary platform that aggregates product listings and pricing information from third-party retailers and merchant partners. We do not sell products directly. All transactions are conducted between you and the respective merchant or retailer whose website you visit through our links.
2. Nature of Service
Our service provides price comparison functionality by aggregating product data from various sources including, but not limited to, the Kelkoo Group shopping feed network. Product listings, prices, availability, shipping costs, and other offer details displayed on our website are sourced from third-party data feeds and are subject to change without notice. While we strive to display accurate and up-to-date information, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any product data shown on our site.
3. Affiliate Disclosure
GreatDealSearch participates in affiliate marketing programs, including the Kelkoo Group publisher program. This means that when you click on a product listing on our website and are directed to a merchant's site, we may earn a commission or referral fee if you make a purchase or complete a qualifying action. This affiliate relationship does not increase the price you pay for any product. Our compensation from affiliate programs helps fund the operation and maintenance of this free price comparison service.
4. No Endorsement
The inclusion of any product, brand, merchant, or retailer on our website does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee by GreatDealSearch. We do not independently verify the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of products listed on our site. Product descriptions, images, specifications, and other details are provided by merchants and data feed partners and may not be fully accurate. We encourage you to conduct your own research and read merchant reviews before making any purchase decision.
5. Pricing and Availability
All prices displayed on GreatDealSearch are provided by third-party merchants and data feed partners. Prices are updated periodically but may not reflect the most current price at the time you view a listing. The actual price of a product may differ from what is shown on our website due to timing delays in data feed updates, regional pricing variations, promotional offers, taxes, shipping costs, or other factors. Always verify the final price on the merchant's website before completing a purchase.
6. Intellectual Property
The design, layout, text content, graphics, logos, and software of GreatDealSearch are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Product names, brand names, images, and descriptions displayed in search results are the intellectual property of their respective owners and are used under license from our data feed partners for the purpose of price comparison. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on our website without prior written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
GreatDealSearch is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GreatDealSearch, its operators, affiliates, partners, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Legal Terms, your violation of any rights of a third party, or any dispute between you and a third-party merchant accessed through our Service.
9. Governing Law
These Legal Terms and any disputes arising from or related to the use of GreatDealSearch shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal proceedings arising from these terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in British Columbia, Canada. By using our Service, you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of these courts.
10. Severability
If any provision of these Legal Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving the original intent. The failure of GreatDealSearch to enforce any right or provision of these Legal Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

Accessibility Statement
Last updated: January 1, 2026
1. Our Commitment
GreatDealSearch is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We strive to continually improve the user experience for everyone who visits our website, including those with disabilities. We believe that the internet should be accessible to all, and we are dedicated to providing a website that is usable by the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.
2. Standards We Follow
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities. Following these guidelines also makes our website more usable for all users in general.
3. Measures We Take
To ensure accessibility, we incorporate the following practices into our website development process: we use semantic HTML elements to provide clear document structure; we provide sufficient color contrast between text and background elements; we ensure all interactive elements are keyboard-accessible; we use descriptive alt text for meaningful images; we design responsive layouts that work across different screen sizes and zoom levels; we use clear and readable fonts at appropriate sizes; and we test our website with various assistive technologies.
4. Keyboard Navigation
Our website is designed to be fully navigable using a keyboard alone. All interactive elements, including links, buttons, form fields, and overlay dialogs, can be accessed using the Tab key to move forward and Shift+Tab to move backward. The Enter or Space key can be used to activate buttons and links. The Escape key can be used to close overlay dialogs. We maintain a logical tab order throughout our pages to ensure keyboard users can navigate content in a meaningful sequence.
5. Visual Design
We pay careful attention to visual accessibility in our design choices. Text and interactive elements maintain a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 against their backgrounds, meeting WCAG AA requirements. Our website does not rely on color alone to convey information. Font sizes are set using relative units, allowing users to adjust text size through their browser settings. We avoid content that flashes more than three times per second to reduce the risk of triggering seizures in users with photosensitive epilepsy.
6. Screen Reader Compatibility
We design our website to work well with popular screen readers including JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver (macOS and iOS), and TalkBack (Android). We use ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes where appropriate to enhance the accessibility of dynamic content and interactive components. Our overlay dialogs include proper role attributes and focus management to ensure screen reader users can navigate them effectively. We provide descriptive labels for all form controls and interactive elements.
7. Content Accessibility
Product listings and search results are structured using semantic markup that conveys meaning and hierarchy to assistive technologies. Each product card includes the product title, merchant name, and a clear call-to-action link. Price information is presented in text format rather than images to ensure it is accessible to screen readers. Our search functionality accepts keyboard input and provides results that are accessible through standard navigation methods. Error messages and status updates are communicated in ways that are perceivable by all users.
8. Mobile Accessibility
Our website is designed with a responsive layout that adapts to various screen sizes and orientations. Touch targets for interactive elements are sized at a minimum of 44 by 44 pixels to accommodate users with limited dexterity. We support pinch-to-zoom and do not restrict viewport scaling, allowing users to enlarge content as needed. Our mobile design avoids reliance on complex gestures, ensuring that all functionality can be accomplished through simple taps and scrolls.
9. Known Limitations
While we strive for comprehensive accessibility, some limitations may exist. Third-party content, including product images and descriptions sourced from merchant data feeds, may not always meet our accessibility standards, as we do not have direct control over this content. Some older pages may not yet be fully updated to meet current accessibility guidelines. We are actively working to identify and resolve these issues. If you encounter any accessibility barriers, we encourage you to report them so we can address them promptly.
10. Feedback and Contact
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of GreatDealSearch. If you encounter any accessibility barriers, have difficulty using any part of our website, or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us at: . We take accessibility feedback seriously and will make reasonable efforts to address reported issues in a timely manner. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days and to resolve identified issues as quickly as possible.
11. Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we are committed to continual improvement. We regularly review our website against current accessibility standards, incorporate accessibility testing into our development process, and stay informed about best practices and emerging accessibility technologies. We view accessibility not as a one-time project but as an integral part of our commitment to serving all users equally.

5. Search Results and Product Information
Search results displayed on GreatDealSearch are generated automatically based on data from third-party merchant feeds. The order, display, and inclusion of results may be influenced by various factors including relevance algorithms, data feed availability, and commercial relationships with data providers. We do not guarantee that search results are exhaustive or represent all available offers for a given product. Product information including prices, descriptions, images, and availability is provided by third parties and may contain inaccuracies or be out of date.
6. Links to Third-Party Websites
Our Service contains links to third-party merchant websites. When you click on a product listing, you will be redirected to the merchant's website to view the current offer and complete any purchase. These third-party sites are not under our control, and we are not responsible for their content, privacy policies, terms of service, or practices. Your interactions with third-party merchants, including purchases, returns, warranties, and disputes, are solely between you and the merchant. We encourage you to review the terms and policies of any merchant site before making a purchase.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any representations or warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We specifically disclaim any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that the information provided through the Service, including prices, product descriptions, and availability, is accurate, reliable, complete, or current.

Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms of Use, if we detect automated or abusive access patterns, or if we determine that your use of the Service is harmful to other users or to our operations.
